The Historical Society hosts numerous talks and special events throughout the year. From our popular monthly Harbor History Talks to Shay Days to special tours, our events bring the history of this area to life. The Harbor Springs History Museum features dynamic and interactive exhibits designed to educate the young and young-at-heart. Changing temporary exhibits feature a variety of topics of local interest. March 26 - April 2. By drop in or appointment.

The largest meteor fall on record landed two miles north of Estherville in May of 1879.
